Details: Food Service Equipment Repair Assistant, Longview, Tx.Kirby Restaurant & Chemical Supply needs a person to perform preventative maintenance on Ice machines, and other commercial food service equipment. Work will be in shop and in the field. We prefer an applicant with some experience… But…If you show the kind of enthusiasm and latent skills we are looking for we will teach you how to provide on-site troubleshooting, shop repairs, preventative maintenance, and warranty work necessary in maintaining food service equipment for commercial kitchens and laundry operations. You will work by yourself performing preventative maintenance and minor repair. As you also work with our experienced tech you will be gaining basic skills that will help you succeed and advance. A partial list of equipment Kirby services  includes: ovens, griddles, fryers, steamers, toasters, warmers, cook tops, ware washing equipment, dishwashers, disposals, beverage equipment, refrigerators and freezers, reach-ins, walk ins, make up tables and ice machines. Your starting salary will include company benefits.  Good health insurance package and dental plan, 401K plan…Generous vacation time and paid holidays. Work 40 to 60 hrs per wk with overtime pay. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. required. Clean driving record. High school diploma.
